Live Mahler concert relays in May

ARTE is streaming live on the internet eleven concerts from Europe, completing a cycle of Gustav Mahler’s symphonies.

The live stream will start flowing on May 18, the day Mahler died one hundred years ago. Thoughtfully Leipzig Gewandhaus will be playing the Resurrection Symphony.

The Mahler Chamber Orchestra will perform a programme that is subtly the same as the Hong Kong bill.

UPDATE: The series of concert relay will be released as DVD by Accentus Music in September 2011 .
